Petite Amelie Bookcase Review

Beatrice is an absolute bookworm and we have tons of children’s books in our home however nowhere to store them. With both kids sharing a room space is quite sparse so we couldn’t get a huge bookcase which is all I could find when searching for one. I then came across Petite Amélie and found a bookcase that would fit perfectly and they kindly sent us one for Max’s first birthday. With the dimensions being 53 x 39 x 39 it sits at the end of Beatrice’s bed and doesn’t take up too much space but fits a lot of her books in it.

When we received the bookcase from Petite Amélie it came flatpacked and to my surprise only took 15 minutes to set up. The instructions were easy to read, there wasn’t too many pieces to put together. The bookcase is white with natural wooden legs so fits into all nurseries and bedrooms. This is the theme of most of the products on the website, go over and have a look you’ll fall in love with everything I sure have.

The Petite Amélie bookcase has two compartments that holds a number of books. We tend to only have a certain amount of books out at a time and rotate them so Beatrice and Maximus don’t get bored of the same books. It’s perfect height so your children can choose their own book and put them back themselves. The bookcase is beautifully made and is from the cerise collection from Petite Amélie which also includes a wooden toy box, bookshelf, desk and chairs. Petite Amélie have got some top tips on how best to complete your toddlers room, click here to read.

Petite Amélie are a French company that are now based in the Netherlands that started making cots in 2010, now making toys including their popular dolls house. They have a big range of wooden toys including a toy dressing table which would be perfect for my little girl as she is obsessed with helping me do my make up! The toy garage is so unique and I could imagine it being a massive hit with car mad children.

Thank you for reading and please do get and check out Petite Amélie.
