I have recently collaborated with Bakerdays to review their letterbox cake, a 5″ cake which is as you guessed delivered to fit through your letterbox. These make perfect gifts – new baby, I’m sorry, congratulations. So many different reasons why you could send or receive a cake, the cake I had delivered was for my niece’s christening.
I was out when the cake came but that didn’t matter as like the name says it was popped through my letterbox and when I got home it was there and waiting for me. It comes in a lovely tin that can be re-used with a cute gift card.
It’s really easy to navigate the bakerdays website, there is so many different designs to choose from and you can even add pictures to the cakes! You just choose your design, the size of your cake and the flavour; sponge, lemon drizzle, chocolate or fruit – you can also have dairy free and gluten free sponge.
I went for the chocolate cake, my favourite! The cake was moist and really delicious, the icing was gorgeous too. The design was beautiful and looked amazing – I love the fact that it was personalised just made it even more special. Portion size I would say that it’s great for about 3/4 people, we had this as an add on cake to my nieces main cake and it was a great size.
The best thing about bakerdays is that you can get next day delivery so if someone has just passed their driving test, announced a pregnancy you can get them a cake delivered the next day, how amazing!
Thank you so much bakerdays for the beautiful cake!
