Casdon Deluxe Cleaning Trolley Review

The Casdon Deluxe Cleaning Trolley comes in two different colours, red for Henry and pink for Hetty. Yep, like the beloved Henry and Hetty vacuums we’ve all known and loved for years. This children’s toy is perfect for roll play and imagination, it is an ideal 3rd or 4th birthday present and would be well loved by all children.

Spray bottle is missing due to little hands!

Bea absolutely loves tidying up, it’s one of her favourite activities (she doesn’t get it from her mother!) so when we were given the opportunity to review this product I couldn’t say no. We were sent the Henry version and her cousin has the Hetty version who we are currently staying with so she is enjoying playing with Hetty whilst Henry waits at home for her.

The deluxe cleaning trolley comes packaged very well and the set up is super easy. Upon opening it I was impressed with the amount of items you get in it and how compact it is, it’s not too big which is perfect for us as we don’t have a lot of space in our home. Even though it is a brightly coloured toy it can fit into the corner of your lounge perfectly. Set up in total took me about 10 minutes, putting it together and adding the stickers to the bottles, dustpan and bucket.

The set comes with;

  • Stand
  • Long handle broom
  • Dustpan and brush
  • Mop and bucket
  • Handheld vacuum
  • Two pretend bottles – spray bottle and washing up bottle
  • Paper bag
  • Cleaning cloth

The mop and long handle broom are the perfect size and Bea has spent hours playing with them, she loves getting it out when I am doing the sweeping to help me. For me the paper bag and cleaning cloth were a bit useless as they were scrunched up straight away and ruined. Bea’s favourite part of the cleaning trolley is the handheld vacuum, it actually does have a little suction to it. You need 3 AA batteries for it and it’s great for picking up little crumbs on the floor.

The product says suitable for 36 months – 7 years, personally I’d say it’s more suitable until about 4 or 5 years but I’d definitely recommend it for 3-4 year olds. It retails at around £27 and is available from most toy retailers including Amazon.
